Center evaluations for children from age 2.8 years through adulthood, neuropsychological profiling, forensic psychosexual assessment, and psychoeducational evaluation, making him uniquely equipped to serve a diverse and complex clinical population. Dr. Beverly is proficient in a comprehensive range of instruments.
Dr. Beverly has delivered Regional Center assessment services under contract with the San Diego Regional Center and has conducted neurodevelopmental evaluations across Riverside and Orange Counties, with demonstrable expertise in Lanterman Act documentation and the interdisciplinary report standards required by California’s Regional Center system. He also has broad experience in Arizona working with children and families

He has worked with children and families from highly diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and beyond, including specialized work with Native American communities in Arizona, where he developed tailored psychological strategies to address the unique needs of these historically underserved populations. He approaches every evaluation with the understanding that valid assessment requires not just psychometric precision, but genuine attunement to the cultural context, family dynamics, and lived experience of the individual being assessed.

Dr. Beverly’s clinical career spans more than a decade across private practice, community mental health, military mental health, forensic psychology, and intensive outpatient settings.
THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
Alongside his assessment work, Dr. Beverly provides individual, group, and family systems psychotherapy, drawing on an integrative, evidence-based toolkit including CBT, ACT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Prolonged Exposure, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Parent Management Training. He is particularly skilled in working with neurodivergent adults and families navigating the emotional and relational dimensions of a new diagnosis.
