Anita Neumann, LAC

Hello, My name is Anita Neumann. I am a National Board-Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona. I graduated with a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2000. Also, I obtained a School Counselor Certification in 2001. In addition, I have a Business Degree in Management, and I am a Licensed Practical Nurse. My 25+ years of experience includes acute medical and behavioral clinical and hospital settings, pediatrics, hospice, medical rehabilitation and drug/alcohol rehabilitation. I specialize in grief and loss as a Bereavement Counselor.

I provide counseling to individuals, groups, military employees and veterans, couples, families, and children. My treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, existential and art therapy. I teach coping skills that are needed to manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse, addiction, PTSD and ADHD.

I honor each patient with a caring and respectful approach. I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others and supporting each patient as they overcome challenges and move forward in their lives.
